It’s A Boy!

We found out a couple of weeks ago that Baby Plaza is a boy!

Since we’ve found out I have been researching what to make for him. I already have a quilt I made awhile ago but I do want to make another one. I ended up making him a few pairs of sleep flannel pants, I figure he’s a December baby and we gotta keep him warm! I’ll post the pictures of the pants soon, they are so cute! I’ve also made a bib, but worry the neck hole is too small. Lastly I’m making scratch mittens.

What are your favorite little boy patterns? I’m going to make him a sleeper like this one I made before: McCall’s Baby Bunting – M4236.

I’ve also pinned a bunch of ideas on Pinterest into my Baby Stuff board. I can’t wait for him to be here!!!

  1. Sewn shoes/booties, hoodies, legging type pants (it’s hard to find boy ones), baby vests they are so cute.

  2. Congrats!!! And I strongly suggest you invest in an Ottobre subscription. Tons of great boys clothes that will go from newborn to age 15ish? I love them for my son. Very worth the subscription!!

  3. I didnt make clothes for my daughter till after she was born but i did make her curtains, a blanket and sheets. All easy and one of a kind. For our boy, also due in december, ill be making the same for his room.

    1. I don’t want to over do it and things not fit him right but I’m so excited lol I’m just sticking to newborn-ish sizes for a few simple things. But I want to make everything!! Congrats on the December boy too!!

    1. Oh! I’ll have to check out some reviews and see what all is in it! Thanks 🙂 I’ll let you know if I can get it here first!

  4. Congratulation’s on your wonderful news. You should check out “made by rae” patterns. She has some cute stuff and I think some of them are free. I wish you and your family all of the best in this wonderful new adventure.
