I know this make might not be super exciting, but for me it’s very exciting! This is a big moment, Nico is potty trained! WOO HOO! I’m beyond thrilled and this means I’ll be saving all kinds of money – good bye diapers!

I measured Nico and his waist is 20″, hips 22″ and height 38″. This put him at age 3, which is convenient, since that is his age and all. Good to know it’s close to ready-to-wear sizing. I found these fit him perfectly, even better than actual ready-to-wear.
These sew up super fast and instructions are very easy. I actually made another pair but they are in the wash, they’re just plain blue. I used a lycra/cotton blend custom print fabric. These are super comfy and Nico loves them!
I’ll be making a bunch more of these with spare fabric and there is even a pattern for adult men. I might just have to make Daddy a matching pair!
