I’m really excited to finally be able to tell everyone: I’m part of the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network! Whew, that was a hard one to keep secret!
I have been secretly working on my upcoming project – that’s part of the lack of updates in my blog… well that and me building my Etsy shop.
What is Minerva Crafts?
Minerva Crafts is a family owned business from Lancashire (if I lived in the UK I’d hanging out at this place and making everyone my new BFF). They sell everything you could ever need for sewing, knitting and crafting. They sell at both a brick and mortar location and online at www.minervacrafts.com. Their name comes the Roman Goddess of Handicrafts and Arts, Minerva. If you want to learn more, check out their about us page.
What does this mean?
Minerva Crafts has sponsored me with everything I would need to create my sewing project. I browse their selection for fabric, patterns and notions that I will need to create my look. They then ship me a package (it feels like Christmas!) with those items and I start sewing. I make one project per month for them and blog about it on their Blogger Network and on my own website. So basically nothing is different for my readers – I make an outfit and share it with all of you 🙂
This whole thing really exciting. Besides the fact that they have a crazy huge selection (I was overwhelmed with choices and ideas), I get to be part of a team with other bloggers from around the world. These are some talented people! I really hope that I can inspire people with my ideas and creations.

YOU CAN BUY MY KIT!! Yep! If you like what I’ve made you can buy the “That’s Sew Amy” kit of that garment. It will include all the fabrics, pattern and notions that I used to create it. I don’t get compensated for any of the kits, so no worries – I’m not trying to force you to buy anything… but if you do buy it, I’ll feel kinda cool LOL
