#mmmay16 Week 2

I can’t believe I’ve actually remembered to take a picture everyday and I haven’t repeated an outfit – yet. I’m not going to lie, I’m starting to get to the bottom of the barrel. I wish it was warmer here in Ohio but it’s been pretty cold. It’s May 16th and 39 degrees outside! WTF?!!?! It’s supposed to get to 60, but I am way too cold to be wearing any summer dresses or skirts. I guess I could wear tights and a cardigan but I think it will look silly with the types of dresses I’ve made. Anyways, here is what I wore last week:

These I blogged about back in January. I LOVE THESE! This is the most worn garment I’ve ever made. I change into them almost everyday after work. I’ve worn and washed these 100 times and they are still holding up great – except for a tiny little hole in the seam at the butt. I always forget about that when I wear them out. I should fix that. Either way, this is a pattern I made myself and hope to release one day.

I haven’t blogged about this exact shirt, but I have blogged about Sweet Tees. I’ve made 4 total. Maybe 5, my memory is terrible. Either way, I plan on making a ton more

More Patterns For Pirates! If you can’t tell, I basically built my wardrobe on her patterns. They really are great and have tons of options. I haven’t blogged about this one yet, I think it will be my next post. It’s the Slim Fit Raglan and I’ve already made 3 of them.

I sound like a broken record, Patterns For Pirates (I swear, I have no affiliation with them, I just really love the patterns!). These are cropped Peg Legs. These are in an activewear fabric from JoAnns. I plan on making a pair tonight after work from some Hobby Lobby fabric. You can see my post about Peg Legs here.

You guessed it – Peg Legs! Funny story about these… I was wearing them and couldn’t understand why my butt crack kept hanging out the back and why the front looked so weird. Yep… I had them on backwards! HAHA! Mom brain.

Today’s garment is the #morrisblazer by @grainlinestudio I realize now that it matches my hair 😆 Oops! This is made from a Ponte and super comfy. My only issue is that it never lays right. This is the Morris Blazer from Grainline Studio. I love that it almost matches my hair 😉 Super comfy and I think looks pretty nice – even though it hangs a little odd. I think that may have been me. What you can’t see (thank God for filters) is the abundance of cat hair on my right sleeve.

Basics are the best! This is yet another @patternsforpirates pattern, go figure! The Sweet Tee is a must have. I’m hoping it starts to warm up (it’s 49 right now) because I wanted to bust out my dresses!

Okay, seriously… at this rate I need to get free patterns for all my Patterns For Pirates talk! Hint, hint!! Shockingly enough, I don’t own every pattern.. yet. This is another Sweet Tee. Bonus is that instead of the messy living room, you get to see the messy bedroom! No time for cleaning, gotta sew 😉
