I’m a little late with my post this month, things have been chaotic! I actually was supposed to make a romper but then Patterns For Pirates came out with a new pattern and I had to make that instead. Introducing the Sunshine Dress. The issue with rompers is that I am a pear shape and they typically aren’t flattering. Maxi’s are always flattering, in my opinion.
When I made this my measurements were 36-31-40 which puts me at a Medium-Large-Medium in P4P. I went ahead and just made a size Medium, no grading, just medium. I don’t think this was a bad decision at all. Maybe next time I’ll even size down on the bust, as long as the fabric is super stretchy – that way it’s a bit more busty 😉
